We purchased this at the end of September and were very excited as we are all big waffle fans in our household. We have/had a straight waffle iron but the flip feature on this is what attracted us to this purchase. The non-stick surface is excellent - never have had to spray Pam on it to cook. We have also begun using the waffle maker for sandwiches and they have come out very good. NOW THE PROBLEM - we are at our two month mark and the plastic cradle/handle used to flip over the iron is broken. Now we cannot flip the waffle iron over, thus defeating the purpose of this item. The handle is VERY, VERY cheaply made (believe that other reviewers pointed out the same issue). Regardless of price, I would stay away from this product. Unfortunately, mine is hitting the garbage can today, unusable.
