Further Update: I took the batteries out and then re-installed them, the clock immediately connected to Alexa and begain working properly, I was hopeful but a couple of days later it has disconnected again and is not working. Down to one star. I will call Amazon and see what they say. Update: I had to take away 2 stars. The clock is not working. It is not connected to Alexa and has a red light (see picture). The second time this has happen. I saw this the other day on Amazon and I liked the concept. I received it this morning and immediately paired it up with Alexa which was extremely easy. I just told Alexa to set up my Echo clock, she said to push the blue button and it began. The clock sets the correct time automatically and when it was finished pairing I tried setting a timer and it worked perfectly. An hour later my wife tried it and it no longer worked. I called Amazon and they told me to re-pair it and try it again. It still didn't work, I asked the customer service person if the batteries that it came with could be bad, she said possibly and to try changing them out. I had some new batteries and I swapped out the ones it came with and viola, it worked perfectly. The rep credited me 5 bucks for the batteries and it is working flawlessly. I love it and so does my wife. I am very satisfied with the product and the service I got from Amazon.
