I bought these pens because I do embroidery and really liked that they were heat-erasable. I received them, used them, and they worked great initially. I use them often to mark the centers of my designs before I stitch them while selling products for my small business. Fast forward to sending out some products to customers last week. I heard from one that there were pen marks on their product. I looked back at pictures and the mark was definitely not there before I sent it out. Turns out, because it was cold outside and the product was out in the mail, the mark reappeared when it got cold. I tested this out on a scrap of fabric and yep - goes away from it's ironed, but reappears when I put it in the freezer for 30 seconds. I would just think twice about using these pens if you're using them on products you're selling or important garments (first picture - initial mark, second picture -after ironing, third picture - after putting back in freezer for 30 seconds)
