I'm having a love hate relationship with this toilet seat cover. It looks beautiful, and the bamboo is solid. For the life of me I can't understand why someone would create a product that looks so great and functions so poorly. The fittings on the outside are brushed nickel, but the actual rods that go into those fittings to hold the seat steady are plastic. Every time we shift a little on the seat the seat shifts out of placement. It is not only very annoying, but I fear it will not hold up for more than a few months without breaking completely. This company's plan to make money from suckers like me is not going any further, I will never buy their products again and hope my review is helpful in allowing others to decide.
