Hi everyone out there-- I am super, super concerned about everyone using this product after finding that the level of electro-magnetic field it emits is criminally high. And this is not just a woo-woo, hippy concern-- this is based on scientific evidence and guidance from our own (U.S.) government, European governments, and the World Health Organization. The recommended level of EMF exposure in your home is less than 1mG (milligauss). The U.S. government requires that cell phones emit no more than 1.5mG. I measured this air purifier with a high-grade, accurate EMF detecting device and it emits over 350mG. THREE HUNDRED AND FIFTY mG. This is so scary. At that level, cancer is practically a guarantee. I really don't understand how it is legal to sell such a thing. Please, especially if you have children in your household-- do NOT purchase this item. I don't want to seem like I'm plugging any particular brand but I did find a couple that specialize in low EMF air purifiers. Just type a search into google for a low EMF or low radiation air purifier, and you will find some suggestions and also description on how to find one (for example, look for DC powered purifiers rather than AC).
