Love the lift up door! Good looking, reasonable price but it is first a TOASTER oven and it doesn't toast. The toaster temperature is regulated by the oven setting and the max setting is 450 degrees. Just when the toast begins to get warm and toast, the elements turn off and go dark, cycling on and off. All this does is dry out the bread. White bread becomes white dried out bread. Update 5/30/2019 So here's the final chapter in this saga. I contacted Hamilton Beach who replaced the oven under warranty. Since it would take two weeks for the replacement to arrive, I ordered a new one on Amazon while I waited with the intent of putting one in my motorhome. I mean, what were the chances the next one wouldn't work? Well, about 100%. The new oven arrived from Amazon Prime two days later. It only heated to 325 degrees and so I returned it. A couple days later, the warranty replacement on the first arrived from Hamilton Beach. Viola! It works and I have to say it works wonderfully! East up lid and very even toast and oven heats to temperature set! Whew. Now if you are willing to take the chance, it only took me 3 tries to get one oven that worked. You may have better luck. Also, there are a couple other models just like this one but with slightly different knobs and handles you might want to try instead. BUT HOLD ON.............Just a few weeks into the "working" oven's use, the same problem presented. I tested the oven with a mechanical oven thermometer and infrared temp gun to confirm. The oven's max temp is now 400 degrees, no longer 450. So we are back to light toast and dried out bread. I give up. Dropped to 1 star because of horrendous quality. This experience has scared me off any Hamilton Beach product in the future.
