I'm 79 and have digestion problems and I usually rely on Boost Original Chocolate as part of my daily food intake. My gastro doctor told me "BOOST is your friend" as I struggle not to loose more weight than I have in the past two years having gone from 230 pounds in August 2016 to 174 pounds today. The Boost Max I received is almost undrinkable with an ugly tasting chemical flavor and smell, and a very extreme chalk-like lumpy consistency. This is a product I wish I could return. I remain a user of Boost Original Chocolate but my remaining bottles of Boost Max are for emergency use only until their expire dates and then I'll toss them. Konrad. =============================== UPDATE 19Oct2018 After I wrote my negative review I contacted BOOST using the 800 number listed on bottle. Customer service asked for identification number listed on bottle top, and informed me I was not the first to call and complain about this product due to some development problems with this new product. I was told the lumps I encountered were a combo of the high protein and fat not mixing. Too their credit there was no attempt to get me to try other bottles than the three I'd opened so far. I will continue to use Original BOOST as I depend on BOOST for my health. I expect all of my remaining bottles from the same case will be useless and I will toss them as I will not pass them on to any food bank. Konrad.
