Don't Waste Your Money
I went for years with the 300 Series Weber grill with remarkable results - a true gas grill that could cook with the best of them. Over time, the burner tubes wore out & needed replacement along with the igniter mechanism. The grill was used heavily & simply wore out. Regretfully, replacement parts became unavailable & we were forced to buy another gas grill. The newer E310 was our old grill's replacement, so we felt confident that it would do as well as our old 300 Series & with the improvements, better. We were wrong. From the initial lighting, it became obvious that this grill was in no way equal to the older model that it had replaced. Lower heat ranges even with a third burner tube, uneven heating within the grill body, controls that did not recognize On-Off points, knobs that came loose & eventually fell off & finally, a temperature dial that lost calibration. After a few ruined meals due to the grills erratic heat fluctuations we finally hung it up & have decided to junk the E310 & go with another grill - only this time it won't be any of the selections from Weber. My return window has elapsed, so this ones on me, but for those of you thinking of ordering a new gas grill, I would strongly suggest that you look beyond the E310.
