The good - well built, packaged nicely, easy to follow instructions. The reason I would not recommend buying - was replacing a $20 Harbor Breeze fan from Lowes that had a 1250 CFM (cubic feet per minute) rating. On my enclosed porch I have (3) of the $20 Lowes fans spaced at 9 feet on center. I was replaced the middle one with the Honeywell fan, which is rated at over 5000 CFM. So I reasoned that the air flow would be appreciably more. My wife was concerned that it would blow everything around on the porch as the air movement(CFM) is mathematically 4 times the amount of the existing fans. She didn't need to worry. Virtually no difference in air flow. At first I thought it was because the fan was on a low speed. It wasn't, multiple pulls on the fan speed control showed it was at the highest speed. whenever I read a poor review I wonder what is this person's qualifications for giving a poor review? Mine - professional electrical engineer, licensed electrical contractor. Me and/or my crew have put in 100s of ceiling fans. Again it looks to be well built, but the air flow appears to be well over stated by the manufacturer
