Disgruntled with electric toothbrushes
I hesitantly give this 3 stars. It has been a few months since I bought this after my Sonicare completely died after less than 2 years. Does the brush work? Yep. Can you sync it to your iPhone? Yep. Does that work well? Not really, I only looked at the app a few times. What else is neat? Well the unit that is supposed to work outside of the app for your phone never worked, it just gave me weird numbers and confused smiley faces the whole time before I decided it was defective and stopped trying to use it. The main problem I have is after about 3 months of use the battery drains quickly and if I put it on the charger after about 2 days use of 3 minute brushings twice a day it soaks up a full 1.5 to 2 day charge. This is not normal. It seems battery issues will continue to plague these things. It's a great concept but buyer beware, the batteries for whatever reason don't seem to be up to snuff for electric toothbrushes. Maybe if you're a very sloppy brusher and brush under a min. this will be ok, but for those of us seeking better hygiene and fresher breath this doesn't seem to cut it. If Tesla can build electric cars that go hundreds of miles it shouldn't be asking too much to get a toothbrush for a couple hundred bucks that lasts a while.
