I bought this product to install outside my home. A couple of weeks after my purchase, Canary started demanding that existing users buy a subscription service in order to record motion while I'm at home (including overnight) or to view the full video captured while away. Since I work from home and bought the device primarily as a security camera to deter package theft and the like, this removed almost all value from the camera. Essentially, I felt like I'd bought a new car, only to have the dealer tell me weeks later that I'd have to pay a monthly fee in order to drive in reverse. Fortunately, Amazon graciously allowed me to return the product for a refund. I won't be purchasing products from Canary again.
