I have been a fan of Lodge products for many years and have a collection of their cast-iron cookware as well as one of the carbon steel skillets. Recently I decided to give their enameled cast-iron a try. I ordered 2 dutch ovens and a 10 inch skillet. I was extremely disappointed when I opened the package and found the enabled finish literally flaking off the pan. The metal itself was not damaged in any way which leads me to believe that it wasn't dropped. I am attaching a few pictures of the damage as well as a pic of the lodge next to my LC. I hate to say it but the lodge quality is nowhere near the quality of the LC. I am tempted to send all the pieces back.
