I should have read the other reviews before buying this sub-par copy of a fond, childhood memory. Don't repeat my mistake. LOTS of assembly that quickly shows off the poor construction: front and back braces that don't align properly; plastic guides that aren't going to wear well (other reviews confirm this); thin plastic on the seat and back that aren't going to survive much wear. BAD SERVICE: The top step is bolted into four threaded posts that fit through the leg frames. One of those posts spins freely, making it impossible to tighten the bolt. Sent an email through "contact us" on their website. No response. Called two days later and spent 15 minutes on hold listening to a never-ending, repeating recording that seems designed to get you to hang up. Maybe they are closed for the holidays? Finally reached a guy who will replace the defective part, "as a one time courtesy." Thanks. The product I got through Amazon is OUT OF WARRANTY (manufactured 3.14.13). Cosco is owned by Dorel Juvenile Group, which is part of Eddie Bauer. This experience makes me think less of EB.
