Why, why, why?
Why does this have to suck so bad?
There's no reason for Simcity to be online only. I bought a disc, I put it in the computer, I installed the game. Or course i had to start an origin account, ok fine. Then it had to update. The game is 12 hours old! So after the update was done it had to update again. So 45 minute install only to find out that all the servers are busy. I've tried 75 times to claim a city. I am not trying to play mulitplayer, just build my own little city after work. But no, I just get a picture of a middle finger and this message.
"The SimCity servers are currently inundated with the masses of eager mayors attempting to govern their cities.
Some players may currently be experiencing issues or delays when attempting to join a game server, or may be unable to create a city at this time. We are working to clear traffic from the roads and hope to have all players managing their cities as soon as possible.
We're sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience while we work on a resolution to this issue."
So maybe one day, I'll be able to build my city. But not if I want to play on my laptop on vacation or anywhere there is no wifi.
If anyone needs me, I will be bulldozing EA headquarters.
