My wife is an RN and she takes peoples blood pressure every day so she knows how to do this. However, this unit does not measure the blood pressure accurately. She took this unit to the hospital with her and 2 other nurses and 1 Dr tried to use it and every time this unit read 10-14 points too high versus the hospital machine. These are professionals taking blood pressure readings so it is NOT human error. The unit is calibrated wrong. Now an incorrect reading of 10-14 points on each of the 2 readings is a real problem. People count on accuracy from these units and this one does not work. Stay away. UPDATE: the seller is now harassing me to remove my review. They are offering me $50 to take down my negative review. This is not how reviews work. This product is dangerous and people need to know this. Amazon needs to remove this item and this seller.
