Worked well for a little over a year and became bad. Manufacturer does not answer question for warranty
My cheap apartment doesn't have the best insulation. It also has small gaps around where the AC is attached to outside. I've been trying different things without any satisfying result. The last thing I tried before this was a radiator heater, which would've worked well had my AC not been leaking cold air all over the apartment. This heater heats up the entire apartment (not sure the exact size, but a small one bedroom one kitchen) perfectly. I've had it running since I got it yesterday, and unlike the radiator heater, its surface stays cool. I'm not having the problem that some others seem to have, that the plug and cord getting hot after running for a while. So far I am very satisfied with this heater. I will come back to update the review if there is any problem. Edit after around a year of usage: nothing has changed. Heats well and consistently. I dare say that it's working even better than when I first got it for some reason. Best $100 I've ever spent. Edit 2: I came back home from visiting family over Christmas and had the heater off for a few days. It is 15 degrees outside and the heater won't heat past 55 degrees indoor despite being on highest setting for an entire day. I'm pretty sure it's a new problem since the weather has been colder but I've never had any issue of it not heating high enough. Also I failed to mention that the heater is pretty heavy on electricity bills. Edit 3: The thermometer on the heater has also become quite inaccurate. I only found this out today when I bought a room thermometer. The heater shows 57 degrees when the room is at 65 degrees. I have no idea how long has this been happening and how much extra did it cost me from having the heater keep running when it shouldn't anymore. Also, the problem with the heating mentioned in my second edit still stands: I was only able to bring the room up to 65 degrees with another heater I was running. Edit 4: As if there's not enough con already, here's another one: The heater blows dust into the air like there's no tomorrow. There's only one filter in the back that I can take out and clean, but cleaning it did nothing in either reducing the dust or helping it heat better. On top of that, the customer service is completely unresponsive to my contact, so I can't even utilize the warranty to fix all my problems with the heater. Final edit: Unfortunately, I find the heater no longer good for use after a little over a year. I have said enough about its problems, and it noticeably accumulates more and more dust in my room. All my attempts to contact the manufacturer went unanswered, and the warranty unhonored. What a shame.
