Bought the second gen to replace my 1st gen. It is definitely faster but the first gen would turn off my sound bar and tv with voice control. Same tv and same sound bar but the tv won’t turn off with this New cube cube. Very disappointing, also had a heck of a time getting the sound bar to connect. I’m sure this could be fixed with an update it just haven’t happened yet. Also got with the ring 2 doorbell bundle and it will not display on the fire tv even though it was sold as a set and claims you can tell Alexa to show front door camera. I have spent multiple hours trying to get this to all work properly with forums and YouTube and for some reason can’t get it all to jive. I even got an email from amazon probably because of this bad review that said how to set it up. Set up IS easy on the cube I’m not an idiot. When you tell Alexa to turn off the tv it said “sorry provider is having trouble “. I didn’t have these issues with the 1st gen. Same TV. Maybe amazon will make an update soon.
