These have turned into horrible fans! We purchased 3 of them through amazon and now after a year they spit black dust balls all over the carpet / floors / furniture any time there is a change in the humidity level in the air or they are turned up to the two highest speeds. They have been wiped / vacuumed weekly since they showed up, but apparently you cant get them clean enough. I have never had a fan do this before and all 3 of the ones we purchased do it, and now they are doing it more frequently. At least once per week we are getting out the vacuum to clean up the mess that is caused by the fan blowing chunks of black filth all over. $300 wasted on fans, will be shopping for replacements. I'm done venting now, I have floors to vacuum again
