I am joining those who have experienced problems with this form of credit, which unless used with very great care can bite you in the a.. This is the first time I have been critical of an Amazon service - I am usually praising this company to the skies - though I have always been highly critical of the GE credit services. I have never had any issues with the Chase Amazon card but I have found the GE one to be needlessly opaque, leading to the potential for a first time user to make mistakes. I fault Amazon for automatically charging the GE storecard for everything. I'd like to be always asked to which card a bill should be charged in that way you can't slip up. I will follow the advice of a previous user and only charge the major, interest free items to the card.
