Amazon 5 stars, Samsung 0 stars
This TV was dead upon arrival. I spent an hour on the phone with Samsung tech before they admitted it was probably a power board. They gave me a repair ticket number and said they were sending parts to a local repairman. Eight days later I phoned to see what in the world the delay was and they had cancelled the repair ticket several days before. The repair service out of Florida (I live in Colorado) said they could not find a repair person in Denver. Samsung gave me another repair ticket and "would handle it specially." Then Samsung turned around and gave it right back to the Florida repair people. I phoned Samsung and got a rep in Phoenix and he said "Colorado and Nevada don't have many repairmen."He gave me a third repair ticket number, which got cancelled the next day. Another Samsung rep asked me to send them the Amazon invoice, which I did. I heard nothing for two days. By now it has been two weeks with nothing done. I phoned Samsung again and was to be transferred to their special Service Dispatch Team. I was on hold for 30 minutes and then disconnected.
At this point I gave up on Samsung and e-mailed Amazon. They handled the problem to my complete satisfaction in less than 10 minutes.
