I am writing this to warn everyone to please smell the dog food before feeding your dog!! I know its something we just don't normally do, but make sure it doesn't smell spoiled! My dog is 12 years old and has been eating this food her entire life with no problems. My last order upon opening the can I noticed a horrible rancid smell ! I kept opening the cans, and all smelled just horribly disgusting like rotten meat. Definitely spoiled. I was sent a replacement case and threw away the other cans. New case arrived: fed my dog half can for breakfast and food smelled fine. She became so ill with diarrhea and threw up in the afternoon. Well, by dinner time I took the same can out of fridge to feed her the other half and it smelled horrible! Rotten meat smell. So it was the food that made my dog sick:( I called the number located on the can, and pedigree could care less! She just told me to contact Amazon. I offered to send the food back so they could see what was wrong with it and she refused my offer and again told me to contact amazon.. By the way, none of the cans were dented or damaged in any way which sometimes can make the seal break causing the food to spoil. PLEASE check your dogs food. I don't want your dog to get sick like mine did.
