I read to escape reality, as do most people. This book begins with Pandemic crap and flows into a riot scene. I don't want current headlines, I want my Three Pines escape. I didn't make it thru the first chapter and I probably won't go back to read more. I have enough in my life that is depressing, not going to force myself to slog thru this book.
