If it's too good to be true, it's probably fake
I'll admit it, I fell for it. If you look on Plantronic's website (as of August, 2018), they list this headset at $299.95. If you Google them, you'll see there are a lot of questionable websites listing them for less than $150, just like this listing. But they are listed for $250 to $300 at websites with brick-and-mortar stores you know you can trust. I know that means these are not authentic headphones from Plantronics but I bought them anyway, even though there are lots of reviews saying they fell apart or stopped working right away. They came in packaging that obviously wan't from Plantronics (these are expensive headphones, so you know the kind of packaging to expect). The photos already posted for this item show the box -- that's the whole box, with no additional outer box with marketing all over it. I didn't even take them out of the sad box before sending them back (it's not even a standard Amazon return). I did some Googling after the fact, and apparently there are a lot of fake headsets out there. These are probably only worth about $30, so this isn't a way to save money. The only redeeming quality is that these are pretty good for a $30 headset. Buyer beware!
