I bought this portable a/c (8,000 BTU) about a week ago, so far I’ve only used it a number of times but only having it this short period of time, I’ve been extremely happy with this product. Very easy to install, all you need is common sense and just a drop of elbow grease. Blows cold air, looks very nice, & was delivered in perfect conditions. The box itself was packaged in a way that protects the product very well. (I saw a lot of reviews before purchase and there was a lot of issues with delivery and broken parts upon opening the box) awesome buy very happy. Update: April 8, 2019 The a/c still runs great. I’ve used it a few times for a few hours and I’ve used it for 2 weeks straight without turning it off. The a/c works. BUT! If you live in a humid area DO NOT PURCHASE THIS UNIT!! The dehumidifier DOES NOT WORK! I had to unplug the unit, take it outside and manually tilt it over left and right for the water to come out. And there was a lot. My room stays at a normal 65% humidity thank you very much (not). That’s with three damp rid hangers and a mini thermoelectric dehumidifier. I have the exhaust hose going directly outside so my room stays really cold. BUT, HUMID. I live in Florida so I was excited when I saw this unit dehumidifies. That’s a lie. Oh also, I had to open the unit to clean the inside, it was pretty filthy, but was definitely really easy to open and maintain. A/c runs great. I recommend cleaning the unit from the inside for optimal performance
