Disappointed in Results RNA
We've been using this product daily for about 3 months. We understand oral glutathione doesn't survive digestion well, and we're not committed to periodic shots. When one of us caught the flu, despite precautions leading up to it, we began to wonder just how effective this formulation is at delivering glutathione to the body. I catch the flu just about the same time every year, and began supplementing with glutathione supplements many months in advance hoping to strengthen my immune system. And while many factors contribute to succumbing to the flu, that I've experienced no difference in either the way I feel day-to-day or in my susceptibility to the flu makes me wonder whether or not this concoction delivers glutathione. I'll try contacting the manufacturer to learn if there are independent supporting clinical studies, because the next step would be to invest more in what I've read is a horrendously odoriferous supplement--liposomal glutathione. Until then, we'll leave the review at 3-stars on the off-chance a benefit is occurring but we just cannot notice it.
We really wanted to love this product, but after months of consistent use have noticed no benefits.
UPDATE, 10 February:
Home recovering from the flu, I've had some time to try to contact this company, Results RNA. Thanks to my inquiry to Amazon, I got a link to the company's website and their toll free number. I spent all day trying to get in touch with them. Their website is quite professional; it's obvious they invested in a solid design team. But the content and assertions contained on the site, if anything, made me even less confident in the products. A medical research scientist myself, I just didn't find anything approaching significantly corroborating evidence. The website claims are extraordinary, but the evidence supporting the glutathione supplement's efficacy involves blood work on two patients, showing an 11.2% and a 12% increase in blood glutathione levels (micromolar/L intracellular glutathione) after 40 sprays orally every 2 hours for 4 applications. The website doesn't divulge the patients' ages or general health levels, nor whether these patients were part of a tested cohort or any salient facts about patient selection.
Not only have I not been able to get through to Results RNA, but in my final attempt I was somehow transferred to a voice mail system for "Emily." Previously the phone had just rung and rung, punctuated with odd sounding ring tones. On her outgoing message Emily alerts customers that she doesn't check her voice mail often and that it's preferable to text her instead. Interestingly, she doesn't give a number to text. I did text the local Utah number on the website, but never got a reply back.
All in all, between my frustrating experience trying to contact Results RNA, the unprofessionalism of their voice mail system, the greater number of questions their website left me with (than the few I arrived with), and my family's baseline mistrust of the supplements industry, we've decided to suspend any future purchases from this company until our questions can be resolved. Next, we'll contact one of the best reviewed microlipid glutathione formulation companies advertising here on Amazon to see if they are more forthcoming about independent laboratory or clinical evidence substantiating their products' effectiveness. If we do hear back from Results RNA, we will update this review so others can be better informed in building their own health regimens.
