This 2020 model seems like a rushed effort to enter the market in the pandemic. Although this dumbbell suggests you can expand the weights, you will not find any expansion kits for the 2020 model-- not because they are just sold out, but quite literally because the old ones do not fit. I purchased the 50-70lbs expansion kit thinking the "elite exp" expansion kit would fit the "elite exp" model, but the sizing is off by a millimeter or two (what seems to be clear oversight). Even their own website does not sell this "2020" model or the expansion kits that would fit. FWIW the dumbbells work well for those not seeking to go above 50lbs, but I'm overall highly disappointed by the deceptive marketing and attempts to gain market during the pandemic.
