Batteries are not replaceable
The batteries in the satellites have a 5 year life expectancy and are not replaceable. You can't send them in for service to have the batteries replaced. JBL/Harmon expects you to either buy new speakers or have them live connected to the bar/USB chargers once the batteries have hit their end of life.
It sounds good and has plenty of bass without ignoring mid and high ranges. It's nice to have both ChromeCast and AirPlay 2 built-in. If they added battery doors to satellites, I'd recommend this set to anyone who can afford it.
As it stands, I recommend against this unit. 5 year planned obsolescence in a $1000 speaker bar is ridiculous. 2 stars because this is my only real issue with the unit.
