Firstly, this product permanently discolored my solution tank on my carpet cleaner a white and yellow film and crusty border. Followed dilution ratios exactly as directed. I tried everything to remove the discoloration and oily film - vinegar, rubbing alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, bleach, paint thinner - nothing worked. It definitely voided my warranty. Secondly, it caused blue mold to grow all over the dining room rug I used it on. Same kind of looking mold you find growing on bread. Mind you, I was cleaning this rug with the usual carpet cleaner solutions and pet urine enzyme cleaners for months before using this product and never had that happen. Of course, I had to toss the rug, which was unfortunate since I loved that rug and was trying to save it. Lastly, and most importantly, for those of you who are likely reading these reviews for pet urine removal, I'd say look elsewhere. It does not remove it. It masks it for a day, gives you a headache with strong citrus smells FOR that day, then it's back to the urine odor. With 2 housetraining puppies, I have been through so many different products and there has been only one product (not this product) that does really well at killing the odor - Woolite Advanced Pet Stain & Odor Remover Plus Sanitize. It has hydrogen peroxide in it, and maybe that's the main ingredient that destroys urine odors. If so, maybe adding standalone hydrogen peroxide to any carpet/rug solution may work just as well. Either way, I'd recommend that product over this one any day.
