I ordered the same kind of brand, exact the only difference was supposedly the number of slices that it held. I had a 12 inch slice pan and really enjoyed it and it looked so well, keeping the bacon out of the grease. I just wanted a larger pan, so I ordered the 18 slice pan--big difference. The pan is too shallow, the bacon is in the grease and the grease pops some in the oven, not a lot, but enough to dirty it with several uses. I DO NOT RECOMMEND the 18 slice at ALL!!! I used mine one time, and I was so disappointed. I had high expectations, like the 12 slice pan. Why did they make the bottom pan so shallow in the 18 slice pan? It collects much more grease and it is too shallow. If you buy it, I doubt you will like it. I am returning my 18 slice pan and buying another 12 slice pan. Notice: the difference in the pan depth for the 18 inches to the 12 inches slices.
