I bought six of these 50-ft soaker hoses a couple of weeks ago. Within a week, one sprang a hole - and I don't mean a little hole, it basically split on a seam. No problem. I looked up the info and followed the directions to get a replacement. It cost me a couple of bucks in shipping because they require that you snip off both ends of the hose and send them in. They say it will take 6 weeks. Ok, well, I could make do with five hoses. Now two more weeks have passed and another hose has split. I'm not running over these with the mower or something. This one split among the brussel sprouts - no thorns, not on a path, no rabbits chewing on it. Well, I can't make do with four, so I tried to duct tape it. It didn't work - so I guess I'll be waiting six weeks for THIS replacement. At this rate, I'm going to need to buy a full set of spare soaker hoses to have back ups while I'm waiting for the replacements to come! But I still gave it three stars. The fact is, there is a lifetime guarantee. And I don't really know if I can expect better from another brand of soaker hose. Edit: Down to 1 star. Although I followed the instructions to receive a replacement, I received no replacement and no response after several months. I have several others that have split, but I don't want to waste money on postage sending the ends in for a replacement that will never come (the company requires that you cut the ends off the hose).
