Our spigot is on the side of the house and we have a very long house, so I got two hoses and had one running to the front and one to the back. It's so tedious having to keep switching the hoses on the spigot, and the constant switching is wearing on the connectors, so I searched reviews to try to find the right splitter to use. I am so glad I chose this one. It hooked up easily and had no leaks right from the start. My husband has had strokes and has mobility issues and he finds this very easy to use. The switches are stiff enough to hold where you put them, yet easy enough to move that anyone can do it. I would recommend to anyone looking for a hose splitter. UPDATE: I went to turn on the hose last week and discovered the splitter was spraying water from all directions and there was deep water all around. I have no idea how long the water had been pumping out so dreading my next water bill. It's not even been a year and it doesn't get all that much use so I don't understand why this would happen. We haven't had any really extreme temps so I wouldn't think it was that. It seemed so sturdy and well made and I loved the convenience...what a disappointment! I've attached a picture but don't think you can really see just how much the water is spraying out in all directions. You couldn't even approach it without getting sprayed. So sorry it didn't work out. Back to the drawing board....
