ORIGINAL REVIEW: So far so good! My fiance and I have used this for about two weeks now, showering about every other day. I love the smell; it's very light and sweet. At first, I was scared, because it makes my hair feel very dry when it's still wet, not conditioned at all, stringy, and it feels like it will be impossible to brush out, but it's actually not. It's not really any easier or harder to brush out than normal, but so far, I have not had any problems like other people on here have with a transition period. My hair has never looked greasy or dirty while using this. And while it feels dry when my hair is still wet, it doesn't look or feel dry when my hair finally dries out. It looks really clean and healthy, and feels soft. I feel like my hair is also more voluminous on the top, which is something I struggle to get most of the time. For reference, my hair type is kinda weird: I have long, straight hair, usually a little longer than where your bra strap goes across your back. The hairs themselves are really thin, but I have so much hair that it looks really thick. My hair is also really heavy because it's so long, so my hair lays super flat on the top then gets fuller at the bottom. Any extra product that weighs down my hair makes the lack-of-volume on the top of my head much worse. My hair also tangles super easily. I also live in an incredibly dry, cold environment, so I am still using conditioner with this product, but I only use it on the bottom part of my hair, not touching my scalp. My fiance also likes it, he says he feels like his hair is softer. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because of the time it takes to use it. It doesn't lather in your hand, so it is difficult to tell when you have enough. It lathers super well IN your hair once you get enough, just not in your hands. It takes my fiance like 5 seconds to get enough because his hair is really short. But since my hair is really long, I have to spend probably 5 minutes rubbing the bar in my hand and slowly transferring soap into my hair before I have enough and I can work up a lather and work it through my hair. **We do have hard water, so idk if that makes a difference for any of this or not. UPDATES: After a couple of months of use, this product unfortunately left a waxy buildup on my hair that just got worse and worse. Like REALLY BAD. I could barely brush my hair our with my fingers, it was constantly getting tangled, and it was very hard to style (and by style I mean put in a ponytail or bun). It made my hair look and feel waxy, too - very heavy and almost oily looking. I ended up having to do an apple cider vinegar mask on my hair to get the wax buildup off.
