I purchased these March 30th and they were breaking within 3 weeks. Today, May 16th, was when each shoe was down to 3 hickies each and I called them dead. I had 4 "extra" (once I filled my eyelets with hickies) and those only delayed the end a few weeks. Maybe it was my shoes, but for how long these last they should be $5 and not a penny more. They break where they bend around the eyelet, not where it connects to one another. So it's a failure of the material due to wear.
