I really wish this item had worked out for us. I was so excited about this. I followed all of the directions for the configuration of the settings. Unfortunately the feeder did not release any food while I was gone on vacation for a week. I’m glad that I left 2 extra bowls of food out just in case. I came back from vacation and saw there was no food left in the bowl, so I opened the top lid to see that his cat food was filled to the top and not even touched. I’m truly disappointed with this purchase and planning to return it since I cannot rely on this item to feed my cat when I am away.
