Very Disappointing
Let me start by saying I am a huge Sony fan. Even after reading some of the negative reviews I still went with this model. The TV arrived during the day so I couldn't tell whether it had light bleeding or not. Downloaded the update which went by fast. The installation took longer than expected but I didn't mind. Once it was done I started browsing the Android OS and cable channels. I have to say I loved the OS in the few days I had it. Everything ran smoothly and was easy to use. The picture was amazing and keep in mind I didn't have the chance to play with the settings. The problem is at night I turned off the lights and started watching TV to test it for light bleeding. It had one small area around each of the bottom corners. I thought to myself that wasn't bad at all. Not as bad as the other reviewer's pictures. So I thought to myself I should keep testing it and give it sometime. Guess what? It got worse. As I am writing this review I still have the TV in my possession and it supposed to be picked up tomorrow. Last night I was watching TV and noticed that the bleeding was all over the bottom and a little bit can be seen on both sides. It's ridiculous and I am glad I decided to return it. Amazon customer service was amazing as always. Be careful because even though you might have a small bearable amount of light bleeding it might get worse. Factor that into your decision whether or not to keep the unit. After doing a lot of research before and after purchasing the X900C I went into one of the local stores to look into the Sony X850C and Samsung JS8500 and decided to go with the Samsung. Hopefully it proves to be worthy.
