I'm very sorry to say that we are disappointed in the night-time video quality of the Roav A1. Received the dash cam today and just got back from doing a little night time city driving to test the cam. Although the image brightness is better than our cheap G1W-C, it is very grainy to the point that vehicle licence plates are barely readable even at close range. We purchased the A1 specifically due to the night time advertisement. Day time seems good and WiFi worked well but night time quality is a deal breaker so I'm not able to recommend this item. We own many Anker products and this is the first time we have been disappointed. The other concerning issue is that the reviews for this particular item received an "F" scoring from Fakespot.com UPDATE: 11/7/18..... I absolutely can't believe where all these positive reviews are coming from. I've dealt with Anker, which was a total nightmare, as well as 2 A1 dash cameras and one was worse than the other. The "NightHawk" night vision is a complete marketing ploy. I own 2 other knock-off dash cams and the daytime/nightime video is far superior than this camera which is coming from a reputable manufacturer.
