I used to love PopSockets. My first PopSocket (that I bought in October 2016) broke because of my own fault, so I ordered a new one in late April (2018), and everything worked fine with the new one until I tried to reposition PopSocket. I thought I would be able to take the PopSocket off of my phone case and place it on a new one, the way I used to be able to with my first one a million times over, but the adhesive lost all of its stickiness immediately! I’m so incredibly disappointed. With my first PopSocket, I was able to stick it on and off a countless number of different phone cases and the adhesive would last through it all. So, having to find a replacement after only a few months is very unsettling to me. My original review praised the functionality of PopSockets, but if this is the new quality of their products, I retract every praise. I ordered a new one just now to see if maybe I just got a bad one, but seeing all of these other recent reviews about the failing adhesive is very disheartening. Here’s hoping! I’ll update if there are any positive changes.
