I initially loved this system as we have rescues and I find for some reason they seem to go through food and litter like nothing I have ever seen. Must be the happiness of a new home. I used Litter Genie for years and put up with the refill issue where it is tangled and you lose a bag or more every other refill. Going through many dozens of refills a year with the cats, and even at that I loved the system. However, in ordering new pails, I found they show up all torqued out of shape while the shipping boxes are pristine. That shows me it's a manufacturing issue and not Amazon shipping. Contacting Litter Genie brought forth the comment that I should "buy them somewhere else than Amazon"! What? Spend more money because they seem to have a manufacturing issue? No, what they should have said is buy another brand, and that's what I will do when the refills on the current pail run out. A great idea poorly executed and without good customer service.
