My high school son primarily uses these black masks through his school day. He requested black. Highlights over the last 3 weeks of school: 1). Multiple (at least 5 so far) masks have different length ear straps. One is correctly sized for an adult length and the other maybe sized for an toddler child?? Major quality control issues! 2). On two different occasions the metal nose adjuster has popped out and cut my son, slicing the side of his nose and causing him to bleed in class! 3). Compared to other KN95 masks that we have, these seem to be lighter and have less filtering media. I am not sure how to test its effectiveness but at this point I have lost confidence. My son does not have a problem with using a simple mask and he does not abuse them. Compounding this problem, I found out about these serious product issues outside of the return window. I’m currently shopping for another black mask that will just simply work and keep my son safe.
