The iPhone 8 Plus is notoriously more fragile than it's predecessors so I decided to buy a heavier duty case for it. I have never broken an iPhone but I didn't want to take my chances will the glass back. I shouldn't have taken my chances with this case either. It was difficult to put on but I didn't plan on taking it off anytime soon so I moved on. Randomly, I decided to take the case off this week and discovered that at some point during the last few months of using this case, the back of my iPhone had shattered. 5 Huge cracks rippling from the top corner by the camera across the entire back of the phone. So, not only is this case bulky, it also doesn't protect your phone. Of course my warranty expired a few weeks ago and I'm not going to pay $300 for Apple to fix it so I'll just put on a different case until it's time to upgrade. Look elsewhere if you've got a glass-backed iPhone.
