I wanted to love this vacuum so much specifically because of the power fins. I have long hair that falls out like crazy and I was so sick of having to cut the hair out of my vacuums weekly. That was the most appealing thing about this vacuum. It worked really great and hair never got stuck in it. It worked just as well on hardwood as on carpet. UNFORTUNATLEY it will shock you about every 30 seconds and each shock is stronger than the last. Everything about this vacuum was perfect except for getting shocked. I was hoping it was just a fluke so I returned mine and reordered another. I was pretty disappointed to see that the second one did the exact same thing (just like other reviews stated). I wish Shark would fix this because I loved everything else about this but it's just not worth getting shocked over.
