I purchased this along with my Weber Genesis II LX grill. The basic premise is you install this in your grill, download their app and then you can interact with the grill via your device. The installation is pretty easy, although it'll be a little bit of a pain if you install it after you've fully assembled the grill. The problem is twofold - first, getting it to connect is a crap shoot. I've got a Samsung Galaxy S7 phone which can connect to everything I own with no problems at all. With the iGrill, it tries and fails multiple times and then just fails. I've gotten it to connect once or twice and then the connection drops after a few seconds or as long as a minute. The second problem is the app. It's basically adware. You launch it and the home page is nothing but links to Weber products. The home page should be the timers, etc. This may be a nit-picky kind of thing, but the connectivity problems just put you in a bad mood to start with, so everything else becomes annoying.
