I am shocked that no one seems to have edited this cookbook. I have made three recipes from it and EVERY ONE has significant errors. A "Cinnamon Glaze" that has no cinnamon? Um, I don't think so. The babka recipe has instructions that completely contradict the pictures, resulting in a sticky, burnt mess. A pound cake that is supposed to make one 9x4 loaf pan but probably should be two, considering how much batter there is. I have spent a LOT of time in the kitchen; I know how to follow a recipe. I am shocked at the number of errors in this book. It is as if no one bothered to make the recipes from scratch, following the recipes word for word, to see if they actually made sense. I was SO excited to get this cookbook because Sadelle's is legendary, but the author got the shaft because the editor and publisher rushed this out. WAIT FOR THE SECOND EDITION.
