While this set will indeed contain uncut prints of all cartoons included, we are once again being robbed of two of these cartoons, "MOUSE CLEANING", the title that should have opened this set, and "CASSANOVA CAT". The reason for this glaring omission is the same as the issue surrounding all the T&J cartoons that had been edited in the past--gags that involve stereotyping. If this were a series meant for the average buyer, I'd totally understand this decision regarding insensitivity, but these sets are meant for the cartoon collector who would understand that such material is of its time and not meant as malicious in any way. This is the one time that all the TOM & JERRY cartoons created theatrically for MGM will be included for posterity, and these two cartoons should be among those. I am, therefore, imploring Warner Brothers to please make sure that these cartoons are in their proper chronological order and are placed in again as part of the series. The gags included therein are no more dangerous than those already seen as part of the series. These are considered the Holy Grail to collectors who like the classic theatrical MGM cartoon, and they understand that these kinds of gags are of their time. Please reconsider and make sure that these two titles, "MOUSE CLEANING" and "CASSANOVA CAT" are returned to the TOM & JERRY GOLDEN COLLECTION, VOL. 2. It will make a big, big difference!
