I initially loved the camera, function with WiFi and iPhone app very cool. But I found the distance focus to be not so clear. I found a forum, aerial photographers, and they were all upset with the poor detail of this model vs the Hero3. Many were brave enough to open their 3+ and manually twist the lens and re-focus for infinity. The posted before and after photos were substantially better! Apparently GoPro set the 3+ for nearer focus to get the subject better but giving a softer focus at distance. For us airborne users, this is a deal breaker. I contacted GoPro and they sent me a software update, it made no difference. So I returned this camera, and won't buy again until I see either a statement from GoPro or and independent review that this has been fixed. Too bad.
