I searched for Apple TV and FireTV came up
Which automatically gets only 1 star. If I search for an item and Amazon's own product comes up, then it's wrong on all levels because it didn't do what I wanted from it. Anytime that happens with a product, how could you give it a good review. So I went to Apple and bought an Apple TV. See? I took a more complicated route to get the item I wanted when I logged into Amazon. I could have bought it with one click and had someone hand deliver it to me, but instead, I went out, got on the NY Subway, sat next to a homeless person, walked 7 blocks up broadway to Apple, waited in a long line and got my Apple TV. Because when you want a certain product, you only want that one. This is a stupid move by Amazon. They are no doubt losing a lot of money on this. Additionally, no Amazon Video App on the Apple TV? That's why I haven't watched all their pilots. I'll watch 2 of them by streaming from my phone to the Apple TV via AirPlay, but the others I won't even both with. If the app was on my AppleTV though, it would be all to easy for me to watch all of them and just that fact that it would be that easy, id sit through all of them. Thanks Amazon. Making things difficult for your consumers. What a great business model! Keep at it! But watch out! The day Apple unveils an online store with all the same offerings as you (I can see an AppleFresh in the future), you'll be done. See my defiant picture attached.
