For a while, this thing worked great. I had tons on Prime Video stuff on the SD card so I could watch TV shows on the road with no internet. Then one day, out of nowhere, a few videos that should have been fully downloaded got download errors that wouldn't go away. Then the SD card, which was one of the "recommended" ones, somehow became corrupted and could not be formatted/erased by the device, or any computer that I had available to me. I also had a lot of Prime Music downloaded to the tablet, which would periodically cut out, freeze up, shut down, or act like a skipping CD. I went through over a dozen of Amazon's "tech support" people, which found no solution to any of these problems, and they eventually gave up and said they'd replace the tablet. What they didn't tell me, was that the replacement would be refurbished. I got the refurbished one, and on its own, it works fine. No more download errors, at least. I haven't put any music on it, because I didn't have a new SD card and the internal memory was full of videos. I got a new SD card today. The same kind as last time. I figured maybe I just got a bad one. NOPE. I put it in the tablet, and it seemed fine. But then it s*** itself off, wouldn't turn back on, and when it finally did, it claimed to be "optimizing storage". What it actually did was break itself or the SD card. I can format this new card on my laptop, so it's not as broken as the first one, but if I put it in the Fire 10, it either doesn't show up, says it's unusable, or goes into an infinite loop of asking to format/erase, erasing, and then asking me to do it again. Honestly I'm not sure what I'm going to do now. I don't really feel like wasting 4+ more hours with their customer support, so I'm probably just going to use it as-is with its limited storage and hope it doesn't get any worse.
