I bought 12 of these, 6 to use and 6 for replacements. They all started out great. Plants really liked them. But after about 3-6 months, I started thinking they were not as bright. At first I thought it was an optical illusion or me just getting used to them. But I bought Digital Light Meter here on Amazon and confirmed, the bulbs were down about half of the light output they started with. By 12 months they were down to about 1/3. I confirmed this by opening up the 6 spares I bought. Same thing: at first they were all very bright. Then over the next 12 months I tested them every 3 months. They all showed the drop in intensity. Some lasted much longer than others, but by 15 months all were down to 25-33% of the light they started out with. The first ones were replaced under warranty, but the 2nd set were not because it had been too long. These are not as good as they seem, they do not last.
