Touch screen for kindle has huge fatal flaw ...
You can't touch the screen without it doing something. I was very excited to get this device. Once I did, I actually thought the touch screen worked well considering it is an ereader and not a tablet. Shopping the kindle store worked great, and the keyboard worked better than I expected. Then I tried reading a book. Holding this device while trying to read stinks. You only have the edges of the device to hold (pinch) and it becomes pretty uncomfortable after 15-30 minutes. I bought the leather case, and holding the device with your hand in the sleeve, makes it bearable but not ideal. My hand started getting a little sweaty in the sleeve. I'm returning the kindle touch and I'm going to buy the last generation kindle with keyboard. So sad. This device is almost there but I couldn't get over the fact that its uncomfortable to read with. I guarantee you will accidentally turn pages when you don't want to. This is what they should do on the next version: 1. Bring back the forward and back buttons on each side 2. Have the ability to disable the touch screen. Maybe a lock/unlock switch. That way people can use the touch screen when needed and disable it when in a deep reading session.
