Misleading title
I received this book as a gift to involve my children more in science. I was excited about conducting some fun 'wow' experiments and to the books credit there are some interesting experiments that can be conducted. I'm giving the book a single star because the title is misleading. To conclude summer vacation I decided I'd conduct the "fire bubble" or "exploding toothpaste" experiment which my kids had been asking to see. When I turned to that portion of the book I was disappointed to read these experiments are for 'teachers-only', certified, hands-on professionals, with access to materials an average person would not have on hand or easy access to. I would not be able to perform these experiments.
Why would the title of a book being sold to the general public suggest that there are experiments to be performed involving 'fire bubbles' and 'exploding toothpaste' when the reality is that they are only to be performed in a science lab by a certified professional?
If you are buying the book thinking you will be able to perform those two experiments for someone, think again, unless you're an active science teacher.
